– The new regimen includes the drugs Bedaquiline, Pretomanid, Linezolid, and Moxifloxacin
– Currently, there are 75,000 drug-resistant TB patients in the country
– The new treatment regimen will reduce the duration of treatment from 20 months to 6 months
– The new drugs used in the treatment have been approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization to ensure their safety and efficacy.
