– The aim is to build three crore P.M. houses across the country.
– Jharkhand has been allocated 113,195 houses under the scheme.
– The Ministry of Rural Development has issued allocation orders to Jharkhand.
– The districts of Palamu, Garhwa, Giridih, and Ranchi have been allocated the most houses, while Kodarma and Khunti have been allocated the least.
– The process of selecting eligible beneficiaries for housing will begin once the target is met.
– Each beneficiary will receive an allocation of two lakh rupees for housing construction.
– In response to allegations, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has initiated the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme, which approves two lakh rupees for building a three-room house.
– The central government has approved housing under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.
– The state government is still pending the construction of 33,000 houses.
