Wed Sep 04 23:36:00 UTC 2024: – Caretaker Transport Minister Suriya Juengrungreangkit has set a deadline for three ongoing construction projects on Rama II Road to be fully launched by June next year.
– The projects include the Rama III-Dao Khanong-Western Outer Ring Expressway project, Bang Khunthian-Ekkachai road construction project, and Ekkachai-Ban Phaeo motorway section.
– The projects are progressing well, with completion percentages ranging from 70% to 96%.
– A trial opening of a 4-km section of the elevated road is planned towards the end of this year.
– Motorway No 82 is set to be completed by June next year, with full operation expected by 2027.
– The ministry has instructed project supervisors to provide monthly updates and adhere to safety standards to avoid accidents during construction.
