– A dialogue with the AIMIM revealed Abdullah’s position on the issue, where he expressed disbelief in the judiciary’s verdict.
– Afzal Guru was hanged on February 9, 2013 in Tihar Jail in Delhi for his involvement in the Parliament attack case.
– Abdullah submitted nomination papers from two constituencies, Gandarbhal and Budgam, in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections.
– The election process in Kashmir is scheduled to happen in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1, with results to be announced on October 8.
