– A four-day Ganesh puja festival was organized by the Kanyakumj Vaishya Halwai Samiti in Jagatganj, with rituals and puja taking place daily.
– The metal idol of Lord Ganesha was installed, and it will be worshipped daily for the next year.
– Due to controversies over idol immersion in the Ganga in previous years, a metal idol was installed instead for long-term worship.
– Special puja and events were organized during the festival, with community members participating in bhajans in the evening.
