– The LRA, led by Joseph Kony, terrorised Ugandans for nearly 20 years with brutal acts including rape, abduction, and murder.
– Kwoyelo denied over 70 charges against him, but was found guilty on 44 charges by the court.
– The court will conduct pre-sentencing hearings before setting a date for Kwoyelo’s sentencing.
– LRA leader Joseph Kony remains wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
