India has started its campaign for the Paris Olympics 2024 with 117 athletes competing in 16 sports disciplines. They aim to surpass their performance in Tokyo and win more medals. The Indian contingent has notable appointments including Shiva Keshavan and Gagan Narang. Manu Bhaker won India’s first medal, a bronze in shooting. India has participated in every Summer Olympics since 1920.
