– The All India Football Federation’s Executive Committee meeting was held in New Delhi, chaired by AIFF President Shri Kalyan Chaubey.
– Manolo Marquez was selected as the new head coach for the Senior Men’s National Team, effective immediately.
– Marquez will continue his role as the head coach of FC Goa during the 2024-25 season before assuming the national coaching role full-time.
– Marquez expressed his honor at being appointed as the National Football Team coach and is grateful to FC Goa for their flexibility.
– Marquez has extensive experience coaching in India, having previously coached Hyderabad FC and FC Goa.
– Anilkumar Prabhakaran has been appointed as the Secretary General of the AIFF, following the recommendation of Shri Kalyan Chaubey.
