About

The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, is a historical fortification located in the city of Delhi, India. It was built during the Mughal empire by the Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The fort served as the residence of the Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years until 1857 when the British took control.
